About the event
Summer 2027 will see the inaugural gathering of the FaceNoise Festival Chorus: a massed choir performing a major work from the choral canon in the heart of the Peak District.
The idea grew from conversations with audience members who wanted to sing, and singers who couldn’t commit to the full choral course or missed out on a place. This new option offers a shorter rehearsal schedule, with no cap on singer numbers.
The project will follow FaceNoise’s artistic approach: conceptualise, collaborate, connect. Our work responds to the landscapes, histories and communities of the places where we perform, with repertoire and collaborations chosen to reflect those connections.
Rehearsals and attendance
There will be four rehearsal sessions across two periods:
1A and 1B: the first Sunday afternoon.
