About the event
Overview
Musically this retreat is aimed at amateur classical singers looking for something a little more challenging to stretch themselves artistically. We have had singers from choral societies, university chamber choirs, retired pro singers and cathedral lay clerks. Do reach out if you aren't one of those people and want some guidance.
The days will run with a rehearsal period running from morning to after lunch (with plenty of breaks) followed by an optional activity. Refreshments are provided throughout the retreat. Accommodation is not provided, but please get in touch if you want help finding somewhere.
The retreat is supplemented by official active and restful social activities such as a guided Sound Walk, a pub meal and a crafting circle. However many additional activities get organised by the singers once on retreat; it is a lovely way to meet new people and forge lasting friendships.
